| Prior to joining Suffolk I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at San José State University and the Director of the Center on Entrepreneurial Innovation at the Independent Institute. |

| I became interested in economics through the writings of Milton Friedman, F.A. Hayek, Ludwig Von Mises, and Murray Rothbard. I earned my Ph.D. from George Mason University in 2003 where I studied Austrian Economics and Public Choice Theory. |
